Dr Peter Masegare is the founder and CEO of Masegare & Associates Incorporated, with over 25 years of extensive experience in auditing and consulting in Business, both at strategic and operational levels with a proven track record, within the private and public sectors and state-owned companies.

He has held strategic senior positions in various organisations, including being a Chief Financial Officer, (CFO) at POLMED prior to establishing his own firm. He also held various current and past board positions for Private and Public enterprises, including membership of audit and risk committee member.

Very good at getting the best out of people and has highly developed interpersonal skills. A strategic and innovative thinker, customer-focused and results-driven. He has the ability to understand complex issues and problems and develop workable solutions, delivering business value through technology-enabled change.

Academically, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration, specialising in Corporate Governance and Auditing from University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, a Master’s degree, specialisation in accounting and auditing from the MANCOSA. National Diploma in Cost Accounting, Diploma in Information Technology Audit, and Investment Management Diploma, from the University of South Africa. His current studies include; The Internal Recognised, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), the Professional / Final part of the Certified Chartered Accountant, (CCA) of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants-ACCA).

Professional Qualifications- Fellow member of Institute of Internal Auditors, (FIIASA), Institute of Directors, (IoDSA), Institute of Risk Management in South Africa, (IRMSA), South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, (SAICA, The Institute of Commercial Forensic Practitioners, (ICFP). Dr Masegare is currently a Registered Candidate Auditor, with the Independent Regulatory Body of Auditors, (IRBA), with a view of become a Registered Auditor during the year 2024, as well as finalising his Registered Government Auditor (RGA) Qualifying-Exam, (QE) assessment in 2024 to become an RGA
